Elena DelleDonne & Tamika Catchings discuss USA Women's Basketball Team

Elena DelleDonne was selected second overall in the 2013 WNBA Draft by the Chicago Sky.

She led all players in votes for the 2013 WNBA All-Star Game.

In 2013 DelleDonne was announced Rookie of the Year and assisted in taking the Chicago Sky to the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.

In 2014 DelleDonne balled out during the playoffs, helping the Sky defeat the Atlanta Dream in round 1, scoring 34 points and the winning jump shot in the deciding game.

In 2015, DelleDonne was named the WNBA MVP! She scored a league-high 23.4 points per game, shot 95% from the free throw line and came in third in rebounding. She received 38 of 39 first place votes.

On April 27, 2016, DelleDonne was selected for the 2016 United States Women's National Basketball Team that will compete at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. (Wikipedia)

Tamika Devonne Catchings is an American professional basketball player for the Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and Turkish team Galatasaray.

In 1996 Catchings was selected to the USA Basketball Women's Junior National Team (now called the U18 team). The team participated in the third Junior World Championship, held in Chetumal, Mexico. The USA team lost by four points to team Brazil, ending up with the silver medal for the event. These 2016 Olympics will make for great redemption.

Catchings continued with the team when they were invited to the 1997 FIBA Junior World Championship (now called U19) where Catchings was the second leading scorer for the USA team with 13.2 points per game and the leading rebounder with 7.2 per game. '97 was also the year Catchings gained fame for recording the first ever quintuple-double (25 points, 18 rebounds, 11 assists, 10 steals and 10 blocks)!!

In 1998, Catchings was named to the team representing the USA at the William Jones Cup competition in Taipei, Taiwan. The USA team won all five games, earning the gold medal for the competition.

In 2011, she was voted in by fans as one of the Top 15 players in WNBA history. Catchings is a ten-time WNBA All-Star, a twelve-time All-WNBA selection.

She serves as President of the WNBA Players Association as of the 2012 season. (Wikipedia)
