James Harden shows up to The Drew each summer to give his fans a show. Another reason, to stay handle ready and in prestige basketball shape.
It was extremely noticeable last summer that J Harden was hitting the weights and packing on some muscle mass. After watching him this 2017-2018 NBA Season and Post Season it's obvious as to why.
Harden is one of the most elite ballers to score in the paint off direct body contact. He has made this one of his favorite methods of scoring, aside from draining 3's all day, and has become too lethal to guard one on one. It truly takes a team effort to guard Harden, and even then he'll still put up 25pts no biggie.
Harden is now a well rounded NBA veteran with 8 years of playing experience and possibly has the best team around him since the younger OKC Thunder squad. Harden is up for MVP against Lebron James and on the road to the championship, but first he'll have to overcome all odds and defeat the best in the west, the Golden State Warriors in this year's Western Conference Finals.
The Houston Rockets are 6-1 straight up and 5-2 against the spread over their last seven postseason games. Houston is a 1.5 point home favorite in Game 1.
